Star of the Week Selected in IBL-A Monday, July 10th, 2130 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Intercontinental Baseball League, but last week Éric Villard of the Bielefeld Foxes reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Villard rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (15-for-30), no home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. To date this season Villard is hitting .295 with 5 home runs. |
