Playoffs? No Chance for Ponce Monday, August 2nd , 2151 The Ponce Coqui certainly didn't impress many fans this with their play on the field. And now there is no hope of turning a dismal season around -- the team was officially knocked out of playoff contention today. The Coqui have made the playoffs 7 times in their 52 years as a WBA Single A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2142. In the last 10 seasons, the Coqui have only made the playoffs once. |
