Red-Hot Farrell Scorches Stars Tuesday, July 27th, 2117 Yellow Springs defeated Long Beach today at Long Beach Grounds. The star of the game for the Nine was second baseman Gordon Farrell. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-6 day, paving the way for Yellow Springs's 14-5 triumph over the Stars. Gordon Farrell singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. So far this year Farrell is batting .285 with 11 home runs. |
