Stone Faces Cruise to A World Series with Sweep Saturday, September 18th , 2151 The San Pedro Stone Faces outclassed the Goiania Toucans in all facets of the game throughout the ABL-A League Championship Series. The end result was a San Pedro series sweep to advance to the A World Series, capped off by a 3-2 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said center fielder Emil Bryne, who hit .364 in the series. Bryne's standout effort garnered him MVP honors.
