It's a bittersweet time for baseball fans -- the joy of having watched the final IBL-AA championship game being played is balanced by the realization that it's all over for another season. So begins the offseason, where the winners bask in the glow of their success while the losers take stock of their performance and begin to lay plans for next year. Whether or not those plans will bear fruit is something that only time will tell.

The IBL Double A preseason begins today and the season schedule has been released. Will teams make a run for the title this year or begin the rebuilding process? Will teams go with the vets or the young phenoms? Will ailing ballplayers return effectively after surgery? The preseason is here and it will answer many of questions the teams and the fans have been pondering. Break out the scorecards and get ready for the season. Baseball has started again!
