Verdict reached on the Aztecs Nickname
« on: October 06, 2017, 10:30:05 AM »
Mexico City's GM held a presser today to announce that the team would retain the Aztecs name for the 2010 season.

"We think it's a great compliment to a great people and we wear the name with pride" he noted.  "There is too much change around this league", complained Mr. Drive, "teams in this league move more often than a traveling vacuum cleaner salesman. We need some stability, some tradition. Plus, I'm too busy with my day job."

Mr. Drive was hit with 3 eggs and a papusa by protesters as he left the press conference.

I'll take that bribe in the form of a 3rd round draft pick. :)
