Two Latin American division titles and a WBACS ring. It was a good run, but the clubhouse is in desperate need of an overhaul. During our opening round playoff loss the complete lack of leadership saw star CF José Casillas participate in a rodeo during the series which predictably resulted in an injury. He may have felt he had to participate given that WBA Hall of Fame legend Carlos Vargas invited him to the local event, but that nobody in the clubhouse helped him see through this evil ruse just won't stand in Santo Domingo.
It's no surprise that several reports indicate that Palmchat Director of Clutchitude and Winneriness Cheslav Zamorov was furious upon learning of the situation. But after some time things calmed down just a bit and the front office now seems more upset with the supposed veterans on the team rather than Casillas himself. So that's why EVERYTHING IS ON SALE* this offseason in Santo Domingo. My entire 40-man roster is available except for Casillas, Chin, and Todi. Highlights below:

Yoshida Kamuta - Are you kidding me? This guy is incredible. He's in the running for ABL Player of the Year, he steals bases like a kleptomaniacal wizard, he has another year of arbitration. EVEN HIS PLAYER ID IS H4X0R CODE FOR ELITE. You can't afford not to trade for this guy.
Gilles Flores - Ace. That's all that has to be said. Guy is amazing and is at a reasonable (for his level of SP) $9M salary for the next 4 seasons. You're welcome.
Wei-sng Ling - Ace closers are worth their weight in gold. This guy is fantastic. Hey Huck, stop trying to pull a fast one, he's a pending FA. O RLY? Not after he signs the 1 year $3.5M extension in the next sim or two.
Rob Moore - 4 WAR second baseman. Old, but has another good year left in him. Do you need to make your chance count? Then you need this guy. Slightly overpaid at $8M per year but I'll eat some of that salary for the right deal. My magnanimity is endless.
Alessio Gardella - Figured it out a bit in Santo Domingo. Very good reliever, reasonable reliever salary of $2.5M for one more season. Can definitely be a major piece for a contender.
José Mendoza - Very nice middle of the rotation type SP, would fill the #3 slot on a contender very nicely, possibly even #2. One more year of arbitration. What a steal!
Ewalt Böhmer - Good arm that will cost you only $800K in salary next season. Fantastic deal.
Gabriel Cuarenta - What a great guy. Helps old ladies across the street and everything. His contract is expiring but throw some cash or a 5th rounder at me for the chance to negotiate.
Higino Brak-Lamy - LOL are you joking, Huck? This guy's ratings suck. Or do they? He's a league average hitting (98 OPS+) catcher who's been over 2 WAR each of the last two seasons and will only cost you $2.5M next year. Look around the league, there aren't many catchers this good out there. He might not be great but he's a pretty certain top half catcher.
Ask about anyone else on the 40-man!!!

Gallin Kirchbach - Big power bat waiting to hit 40 bombs in the right home. Rookie of the Year finalist (3rd place). Loves puppies and long walks on the beach. Great clubhouse guy, organizes great poker games which is how he got his clubhouse nickname Gallin "All-in" Kirchbach. You can't not trade for this guy. Minimum salary contract for two more years, I just like the guy and want to see him get playing time somewhere. If not moved he'll be a backup and vs RHP pinch hitter for me this season.
Everett 'Slug' D'Abernon - Another wonderful human being. Signed for $3.75M for two years with the second year being a player option. Put up 3+ WAR last season once he joined a class organization (no offense to Northwest and Beijing). ALSO HE'S FROM MICHIGAN.
Looking for relievers or a catcher. Also willing to swap arms for changes of scenery. And if you've got a great third baseman you'd like to send me I wouldn't be mad at you.

Rumors are flying out of the Palmchat front office that team management has made the decision to forcefully close the window on the current iteration of the club. While some fans and media personalities have been publicly calling for a drastic move even before the 2127 season, Santo Domingo brass reportedly waffled in recent days and considered trying to extend things for one more year. But when offers started coming in they made the difficult decision to move into a rebuilding phase. Unfortunately those rumors reached the clubhouse before front office staff had the chance to inform the players, as seen in a recent interaction at headquarters.

Huck L. Berry: "Come in. Oh, Vicente, I've been looking for you just to see how you're doing after that tough exit. How are things?"
Deleón: "Thanks boss, you know it's never easy when the season ends. But I'm here to talk about the rumors I'm hearing of a bunch of my boys leaving. I heard Bonehead is already locked into a move. Is that true?"
Berry: "Unfortunately, yes. I'm afraid that time we discussed a while back where our window closes has unfortunately arrived. We need to get value while we still can. We gave it a valiant effort but it just didn't work out for us."
Deleón: "I don't know, boss. I think we can still win this whole thing. We've got great young hitters who are good with the glove, Bonehead was still producing, a top flight closer with other good relievers. That's all we need to win."
Berry: "..."
Deleón: "And I mean I'm still anchoring the rotation. I've even been taking GRITTY GAMER lessons from Liddicoat."
Berry: "Look, Flip. You're a legend. But the rotation just wasn't there and it's just too expensive to try to purchase an entire starting rotation that can win titles. We tried the Rio method of being just good enough to play the postseason lottery. But it's not happening. You are welcome here forever, Flip. And don't tell the owner I said this but at any price you name, too. We can never thank you enough for everything you've done for this franchise, and will still do. You have my word that within the rebuilding process we will still surround you with the best team possible to help you out."
Deleón: "You've always been good to this club and to me, so I'll trust you. But I'm going to hold you to your word, boss."

Tusya Alabyan - Good pitcher that Bob totally wishes he'd ponied up the money for when he was last available in FA. Fairly hefty salary at $9.375M that I am willing to retain a portion of, the amount depending on the return. Do you have a homer friendly park? Alabyan is your man!
Boboy Espina - Do you have a not homer friendly park? Boboy is your man! Good value at $3M if your park doesn't turn pop flies into homers.
Looking for picks and specs only. Gotta get this eventual rebuild going at some point.
